Safia Yusuf Abdi Haase is a Somali graduate nurse. She was trained at the Harstad University College in Harstad, Norway, and also has a Master's in International Welfare and Health Policy from the University of Oslo. Haase is an official with the Amathea Foundation, having joined the non-profit organization in 2005. In this capacity, she helped formulate the Norwegian government's national action plan against female genital mutilation (FGM) and serves as an ambassador against gender-based violence. Haase is also part of the KIM national board, which works toward inter-cultural understanding, acceptance and protection. Additionally, she is a member of the Global Core Team of the Human Dignity and Humiliation Studies interdisciplinary network of academics and practitioners. Haase has received various awards and recognition for her work, including the 1999 Harstad Honorary Ambassador, Harstad Savings Banks Culture Prize 2000, Troms County Council Equality Award 2001, Unni and Jon Dørsjøs Memorial Fund at the Norwegian Women's Public Health Association in 2005, Honorary Member of the Norwegian Women's Public Health Association in 2005, 2005 Africa Forum – Nordic, Top 10 Annual Award in 2007, and the 2007 Reconciliation Prize/Blanche Major.[1] In 2014, she was also presented Norway's Order of St. Olav, the first immigrant woman to receive the honour.

Mr. Abdullahi has over 25 years of progressive career in Financial Management. He started his career working with the Finance Ministry of Somalia in 1986, but he worked most part of his adult life in Norway and Britain. Among the organizations he worked in Norway include Eksportfinans ASA and various departs of Oslo City Council where he held positions as financial controller. Abdirahman’s compassion for aid and development issues has also taken him to work in aid organizations operating in Yemen, Djibouti and Kenya, before returning to Somalia to take part in the rebuilding of the nation. He is currently the Governor of the Central Bank of Somalia (CBS). Prior to his current role, Abdirahman has worked as Senior Economic Policy Advisor for the Office of the Prime Minister in Somalia, where he contributed significant policy reforms in the areas of Fiscal Policy and debt relief program with IMF. Abdirahman holds a Master’s degree in Finance and International Banking (MSc) from Liverpool John Moores University (JMU) in U.K and Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Norwegian University of Technology and Science (NTNU), as well as Business Managements Diploma from Norwegian School of Manasgement (BI).

Dr Abdirashid A Warsame Dr Abdirashid Warsame obtained his MSc in genetic engineering from the Department of Biosciences, Oslo University. After graduation, he joined the Norwegian Radium Hospital which is part of Oslo University Hospitals where he worked as a research scientist. He was a PhD research fellow at the Institute for Clinical Medicine between 2008-2012 and received his PhD from the Faculty of Medicine (University of Oslo) in 2013. Afterwards, he pursued his post-doctoral researcher in cancer genetics at University of Oslo, and he simultaneously served as a visiting researcher at Stavanger University Hospital, Norway. Dr Warsame works now as a senior scientist and research fellow at Oslo University Hospital and University of Oslo. His research areas of interest include the role of chronic infections in the cancer development, and in general molecular biology of cancer from molecular mechanisms to targeted therapies. Dr Warsame has served as an active board member for a range of institutions both in public and private sector.

Dr. Abdi Ali Hassan is one of the most known MP's of the Somalian Government. He has a Ph.D in Economics and agro-food policy from University of Udine (Italy). He has served under critical time in Somalia and been one of the statebuilders. He is currently Professor of Economics at the Somali National University.
